Kendriya Vidyalaya B.S.F. Aradpur commenced operations in 2011 with classes ranging from Class 1 to Class 5. It operated from a temporary building within the 88 Battalion BSF campus at Narayanpur in the Malda district of West Bengal until June 2026; from 2016 onwards, classes up to Class 10 began to be conducted at the school. Over the next few years, through the persistent efforts of the school administration, the School Management Committee, and the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Regional Office, Kolkata), the school secured a permanent building in June 2026, and officially shifted into it on June 17, 2026. Later, on August 27, 2026, Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, the Union Minister of State for Education and Development of North Eastern Region, inaugurated this new building. This marked a historic milestone in the school’s development—evolving from humble beginnings to its current status, where it operates from a permanent building, providing education to the children of BSF personnel and local residents.
