At Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Aradhpur, we aim to provide a safe, nurturing yet challenging environment to facilitate students in becoming lifelong learners both within and beyond the classrooms. SCHOOL HOURS
School begins promptly at 8:00am and ends at 2:10pm. Students should report at school between 7.30 to 7.45 a.m. Arriving earlier than 7.30 am may creates an unsafe environment for our students
• 7.30 gate Open
• 7.40 a.m. First Bell (students proceed to class)
• 7.45 to 7.55(attendance in the class)
• 8:00 assembly begin
• 2:00 pm begin dismissal starting from class 1
Visiting Hours( Principal) : 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM and 2.00 PM to 3.00 PM
KV BSF Aradhpur employees are not responsible for supervising students arriving on the premises more than 30 minutes before & more than 30 minutes after the end of school sponsored activities.
ABSENCES
Students who will be absent are required to bring a note signed by their parent or guardian explaining the absence. We are required to keep these notes and report attendance to the state. Please make every effort to have your child here on time. Regular attendance is required as per KVS norms and CBSE guidelines and necessary for the completion of a successful school year.
Please note the following:
1)Please Ensure that your child carries his I card and student dairy every day as it is an important source of information during emergencies .
2) On a daily basis, student absences will be recorded as “Absent” in their dairy. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to promptly report the reason for the student’s absence to the school in writing in the student dairy.
3.) Allowed absences include:
a. illness, injury or other insurmountable condition
b. illness or death of a member of a student’s immediate family
c. recognized religious holiday or religious instruction
d. Medical appointments
e. Participation in an approved activity or class of instruction held at another school site
f. prearranged absences of educational value with the principal’s prior approval
